Trash Mobs (The Catacombs of Ascendent Court, Part VI)

 We approached the door to the west, and discovered the Sleeping Chamber. This tight corridor seems to double back on itself. Strewn all about the floor and alcoves are bedrolls and sleeping pallets, while makeshift hammocks hang from the walls at random intervals. A foul stench wafts along a breeze coming from the northern wall. More Skinsaw Initiates attack from both north and south, hurling daggers as they close. One by one the Initiates fell to Mr. Gone's fists, Simi's rapier, and Grimwald's arrows.

As they headed for the stairwell down, the squad was ambushed by Giant Crawling Hands and a huge pile of rotting garbage called an Olfalth. The party held the Olfalth at bay while decimating the Crawling Hands. The rotting stench of the Olfalth made several the squad nauseous, but as the entire squad surrounded it and attacked, it died a horrible, stinking death. Pumpellio's Hymn of Healing kept Valcos alive while he stabbed the garbage golem.

Jorin cast a telepathic bond between the members of the squad. Valcos headed down the stairs in Stealth, but it was totally dark, and Valcos has no Darkvision. Pumpellio scouted ahead, and we saw down the hallway three Excorsions... and the Skinner, Wrent Dicaspiron!

Street Urchins and other Pests (The Catacombs of Ascendent Court, Part V)

The squad returned to the Greycloak precinct house long enough to ensure the safety of their freed captives and resupply, then returned to the cultist catacombs. 

As the squad headed for the stairs leading down, they encountered a gaggle of kidnapped urchins. Suspicious of them, being a professional paranoid, Valcos asks the party to check their pockets; the urchins confess that they were to 'earn' their freedom by stealing our holy symbols that let us pass the golems peacefully. Jorin gave them some coins, and the squad let them go.

Further in, at the chamber where the Cultists would gather for their missions, the squad encountered a colossal centipede. Simimel and Grimwald formed a shield line and hacked it to bits while Valcos shot it with arrows.

The squad healed a bit and proceeded to the next chamber, where they were attacked by three Giant Bone Skippers and two Zombie Hulks. Grimwald unlimbered  his bow, while Simimel defended him. One of the Bone Skippers flew over them, and straight into Mr. Gone's fists. The other Bone Skipper and a second Zombie Hulk tried to flank the squad, but Simi turned and Valcos took advantage of her distracting them to stabbity stabbity stabbity.

Grimwald held off the other flank, continuing to shoot while Pumpellio sang a Hymn of Healing to strengthen him. 

Mr Gone flew to the fight, and slowly the second front collapsed, and the others fell shortly thereafter. Valcos broke out his medical supplies and Simi healed wounds until only the enemies' blood on the stones marked the battle.
